Almeida Junior launches Mother’s Day and Valentine’s Day campaign with a raffle of six hybrid cars

The promotion will run from April 23 to June 14 and will raffle off a Jaecoo 7 Luxury at each of the group’s malls

Two of the most sentimental dates of the first half of the year, Mother’s Day and Valentine’s Day, arrive accompanied by a new Almeida Junior campaign. Starting April 23, the group is launching a special campaign that will give customers the chance to compete for an Omoda Jaecoo 7 Luxury — a plug-in hybrid model valued at R$240,000 — at each participating mall.

For every R$300 spent at the stores, including parking payments, customers receive a lucky number upon registering their receipts on the AJFans App. Once they reach R$1,000 in purchases, participants earn an additional 10 bonus lucky numbers.

At Norte Shopping, the campaign features a special promotion. In celebration of the mall’s 15th anniversary, customers who make purchases on May 28 will be entitled to double lucky numbers, boosting their chances of participating in the raffle.

It is also possible to earn more lucky numbers by purchasing mall gift cards and through the “referral rewards” feature on the AJFans app, where, by referring friends who take part in the promotion, the customer receives extra numbers simply for spreading the word.

Receipts can be registered through the AJFans app, at the exchange counters, or on the official website of each participating mall, always linked to the venue where the purchase was made. Customers are encouraged to download the app in advance, before heading to the mall, to ensure a smoother participation experience. The entry period runs until 11 p.m. on June 14. The raffle will take place on June 17, 2026.

Known as the second most important date for national retail, behind only Christmas, Mother’s Day typically drives a significant boost in consumer spending. In 2025, it generated approximately R$37.7 billion across the commerce and services sectors and mobilized more than 120 million consumers, according to a survey by the National Confederation of Store Managers (CNDL) and SPC Brasil. With this landscape in mind, Almeida Junior is running the campaign at malls across its network, including Balneário Shopping (Balneário Camboriú), Continente Shopping (Greater Florianópolis), Garten Shopping (Joinville), Nações Shopping (Criciúma), Norte Shopping, and Neumarkt Shopping (Blumenau).

Almeida Junior malls launch first 100% virtual fashion week

Aware of world trends and the changes that have occurred in the last few months, the fashion week at Almeida Junior Malls will be a little different from the traditional one. It is important to be flexible and innovative. Starting this week, the public will be able to contemplate 100% virtual content about fashion and style, with Trend Week.

Intermediated by Journalist Rejane Gambin and Image and Style Consultant Thay Ranghetti, this first edition will address the main fall/winter trends, such as: white shirt, hot pants shorts, draped, 70s, lace and sequins, pencil skirt, trench coat and underwear.   At the end of each episode, we have the special participation of Fashion Trends Specialist, Mariáh Cidral, who speaks directly from Paris – France.

The episodes will be broadcast starting next Wednesday, 5/27, and will run until Thursday, 6/3. There will be 8 episodes that will be posted daily at 7 pm on Instagram (IGTV) of Balneário, Continente, Garten, Nações, Norte and Neumarkt Shopping.

“Continente Shopping” mall plans musicals, Boi-de-Mamão (“Papaya Ox”) traditional play and activities for the week

Greater Florianopolis metropolitan area is one of the main technological poles in Brazil. The tourism and retail industries also have a strong presence there. Continente Shopping is located precisely in this area in the city of São José, right next to the capital city of Florianopolis. In order to celebrate the city’s anniversary, Continente Shopping has assembled a special program full with activities and entertainment for the children and families alike.

On March 19th, the city celebrates the 270th anniversary of its founding. The attractions however start earlier next Saturday, the 14th and they include marvelous musicals, and some celebration of our historical and cultural heritage (with the Boi-de-Mamão and workshops for the children). On the first day there shall be a crown making workshop and the Princesses Musical. On Sunday, the 15th, a plasticine workshop will take place as well as a Peter Pan storytelling activity – those will be plenty of fun for the kids.

On the 19th (a public holiday in the city), Continent will promote a celebration of our historic and cultural legacy with the theatrical staging of the Boi-de-Mamão story. Then, the Enchanted Forest musical will tell the story of a happy girl and her adventures with her friend, a bear, with whom she lives. Next Saturday (21st), there will be a paper toy workshop for the children and on Sunday (the 22nd), all families will be able to enjoy the spectacle “An adventure on the high seas”. This spectacle tells the story of the little shark who has become an internet phenomenon.
