Digital Christmas Magic: Disney and Santa interactive attractions will surprise

The magic of Christmas will enchant – and very much so – the children as of November 13. Innovating once again, Almeida Junior shopping centers will bring the most beloved Disney characters and Santa Claus in a different way for a technological experience, where even adults will surrender to emotions.

Mickey and his friends will be present through augmented reality at Neumarkt and Norte Shopping (Blumenau), Balneário Shopping (Balneário Camboriú), Garten Shopping (Joinville), Continente Shopping (Florianópolis) and Nações Shopping (Criciúma).

To participate in this virtual experience, simply download the Disney Scan application. With the app on the smartphone, in the Disney scenarios installed by the malls, it will be possible to find the characters in augmented reality, besides other fun actions in 2D, such as taking selfies, using wallpapers, and watching videos with many stories of the characters.

Santa’s Portal

Of course, that is not all. Santa Claus will be more present than ever in an innovative and interactive way. Following all safety measures, children will be able to interact in real-time through Santa’s Portal and also with 3D characters.

This year, Santa decided to open the doors of his house directly from the North Pole to meet the requests of children and also to delight adults, all in real-time, with the simultaneous transmission. The children can talk to him, make their requests and, even take the traditional Christmas picture, through Santa’s Portal, in a giant screen inserted in a beautiful scenery that portrays the house of our good old man.

Outside this time, families will be able to watch the stories of Santa Claus and his friends in 3D – with the proper social distancing that will be reinforced through marks in the malls.

The shops also got giant signs with the “HO HO” and “Merry Christmas” instagrammable phrases, so that visitors may record the moments of #MagicadeNatal. The Santa Claus Portal is in the malls until January 4th and photos with Santa Claus can be taken until December
24th.

“This is the moment to reinforce the confidence the consumer has in the shopping malls and welcome them safely as they buy, following all safety measures”, says Rafael Fiedler, Almeida Junior’s corporate marketing director.

Since the reopening of the shopping malls, the shops have already operated following strict protocols established by WHO (World Health Organization) to preserve the health and safety of employees, customers and shop owners.

Almeida Junior supports McDia Feliz campaign in favor of children with cancer

From November 19 to 23, clients of Almeida Junior shopping centers will be able to participate in the McDia Feliz campaign to benefit children with cancer in Santa Catarina. This year, Big Mac tickets will be sold for $ 17 at partner stores in each of the participating malls.

The project is a partnership between Almeida Junior, McDonald’s and AVOS, which is one of the entities benefiting from the restaurant chain campaign. The proposal is to involve the client and awaken a feeling of solidarity. For more information, call (48) 98414-1002.

C&A opening at Nações Shopping

A unit of C&A Brasil opens this Thursday, the 12th, at Nações Shopping. To celebrate the opening, from November 12 to 15, the store will offer a 10% discount on purchases made in the new unit in C&A products, except for cell phones, watches, beauty and fragrance products.

In a space of approximately 1,982.93 m², C&A Nações Shopping reinforces the brand’s presence in the region, offering consumers a platform for democratic expression through fashion. To provide the best shopping experience, the new store has modern, clean and intuitive environments, in addition to a wide variety of products, such as clothing (women, men and children), accessories and shoes. The unit also has the Beauty Area, where several options for makeup, cosmetics and perfumes are found.

Another distinguishing feature of the unit is the presence of the urn of C&A’s Movimento ReCiclo, an initiative that offers an alternative for the donation of used clothes that will later be sent to partner institutions for reuse or recycling. Environmentally correct disposal for cell phones and batteries can also be carried out in the store through the urn of C&A’s Programa de Lixo Eletrônico.

With this opening, the retailer reaches the milestone of 293 units nationwide, six of them in the State of Santa Catarina only. For this new unit, about 24 associates were hired.
