Jaimes Almeida Junior Participates in the Launch of LIDE SC’s Governance Vertical

The CEO of the largest shopping center network in Santa Catarina, Jaimes Almeida Junior, was a special guest at the launch of LIDE SC’s Governance Vertical, an event that took place yesterday (20th) in Florianópolis and brought together businesspeople from various sectors in Santa Catarina.

The entrepreneur spoke about the company’s journey and how corporate governance has always been a cornerstone of the company’s exponential growth, dating back to the 1990s when it started in the real estate sector, long before the ESG acronym became widely known in the business world. “At its core, governance boils down to putting into practice the values we learned from our parents. If we always do this, we will have ethical and fair companies,” emphasized the entrepreneur in his speech. Transparency in management was another point raised by the executive, as the company has been audited by the Big 4 since 1994 – currently by Ernst & Young.

In the event’s opening speech, the president of LIDE SC and RS, Delton Batista, highlighted the strength and diversity of the business community in Santa Catarina. “We need to better understand our companies. Here we have some of the leading companies in Brazil and the world in various sectors, and often we seek suppliers and partnerships outside the state,” he said.

The event also featured presentations from José Koch, CEO of the Koch Group, who shared his governance experience leading a family business founded by five brothers, and Marcelo Gasparino, Vice President of the Board of Directors of VALE, who throughout his career has served on the boards of 48 companies. The governance vertical will be led by the Bertol Institute, which also participated in the event.

Mother’s Day: Almeida Junior Malls raffle six electric cars and sixty weekend accommodation packages in Urubici, Santa Catarina Mountains

Providing memorable experiences and promoting moments of leisure, well-being, and fun for customers is the purpose of the Mother’s Day promotion, which will be launched at all Almeida Junior malls starting April 25th. Participants will compete for the raffle of one GWM ORA Skin 2024 electric car per mall, along with accommodation packages in the stunning Santa Catarina Mountains. The campaign is valid for the six malls in the group: Balneário Shopping, Continente Shopping, Garten Shopping, Nações Shopping, Norte Shopping, and Neumarkt Shopping.

To celebrate customers and commemorate Mother’s Day, a commemorative date that is the second most important for the retail sector and trails only Christmas in shopping volume, the prizes will include a total of 60 accommodation packages to the Santa Catarina Mountains, 10 per mall, with two nights that include an inn with a hot tub, views of the Santa Catarina Mountains, included meals, and tours of parks and wineries. Additionally, six GWM ORA Skin 2024 electric cars will be raffled, one for each mall in the network, from the high-tech company Great Wall Motors.

To participate, simply register purchase receipts in the AJFans super app until 11 PM on May 12th. For every R$300.00 accumulated in purchases at participating stores, the customer will receive numbers to enter the raffle. The drawings will be conducted in accordance with the Federal Lottery results on May 15th.

Top model Carol Trentini is the face of Almeida Junior’s winter campaign

The Winter’24 campaign of Southern Brazil’s largest mall network, Almeida Junior, features international top model Carol Trentini as its protagonist. In her 20-year career, she has graced pages and covers of national and international publications such as Vogue, and has been sought after at the world’s leading fashion weeks to walk for top designers.

Photographed in Balneário Camboriú by fashion photographer Fabio Bartelt, who has shot editorials for Marie Claire, Vogue, and Elle, the campaign showcases the colors and trends of winter 2024, idealized and produced by Almeida Junior’s creative House.

Almeida Junior’s malls, strategically located in important cities in the state of Santa Catarina, have consolidated themselves as reference centers for fashion and lifestyle trends, standing out as primary shopping and consumption destinations. In Balneário Camboriú, Balneário Shopping features exclusive brands such as PatBO, Boss, Animale, and Diesel. Despite a packed schedule of international commitments, Carol chose Balneário Camboriú in Santa Catarina to live with her family, and once again is the star of Almeida Junior’s campaigns.

The desire to position itself with authenticity and genuineness influenced Almeida Junior’s choice of the editorial and its protagonist. “The audience at Almeida Junior malls is connected to fashion and consumption trends, and having Carol Trentini as the campaign’s protagonist makes perfect sense, as she represents all of this,” comments Rafael Fiedler, Almeida Junior’s marketing director.

The Winter’24 campaign premiered on April 16th at all network malls. In Greater Florianópolis, Continente Shopping offers shopping experiences with names like Farm, Tommy Hilfiger, and Nike Unite. In Joinville, at Garten Shopping, brands like Shoulder, Farm, Chuá, and Luiza Barcelos stand out. In Criciúma, Nações Shopping features brands like Farm, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, and Arezzo. In Balneário Camboriú, at Balneário Shopping, you can find brands like PatBO, Boss, Souq, Diesel, Lacoste, and Calzedonia. And in Blumenau, customers will find Le Lis Blanc, Farm, and Tommy Hilfiger at Neumarkt Shopping; and Arezzo Beagle, Pandora, and the newly opened Kings Sneakers at Norte Shopping.
