Leadership for the future will be the theme of a business panel

The event will address Corporate Responsibility and Social Impact and will launch a campaign for the appreciation of the role of leaders in building a better society

The entrepreneurs Jaimes Almeida Junior, founder and CEO of Grupo Almeida Junior, and Carlos Sanchez, chairman of the board of directors of Grupo NC, are guests on the “Leadership of the Future” panel, promoted by LIDE SC (Group of Business Leaders of Santa Catarina), next Tuesday (14), at the Cinépolis of Continente Shopping.
At the meeting, leaders will share their trajectories and successful experience ahead of organizations that have faced and overcome challenges over time, in addition to their beliefs and vision of the future.
The special event for LIDE SC Associates and guests will mark the beginning of the business group’s 10th year celebrations and the launch of the “Leaders are true influencers” campaign. The campaign aims to enhance the role of business leaders in the recovery and construction of a new economy.

ALMEIDA JUNIOR RECEIVES AWARD FOR DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION

Almeida Junior, the largest shopping mall chain in the south of the country, is the winner of the 2021 Leaders of Brazil Award in Santa Catarina in the category Highlight Digital Transformation Award for the AJPlace case. Held by LIDE SC, the event took place on Wednesday night (24/11), in a face-to-face ceremony. The award seeks to highlight companies and entrepreneurs that faced and overcame the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic. AJPlace is the first corporate marketplace for shopping centers in the south of the country. Currently, it gathers products from stores in the six shopping malls in Santa Catarina in the online environment, as well as products from other national and international brands that are not yet present in Almeida Junior malls and in the State. Altogether, there are more than 800 brands gathered on the platform and available for consumers to buy online.

 

For the president of LIDE SC, the award seeks to enshrine the resilience of entrepreneurs and, above all, bring optimism for the resumption of various sectors: “The great symbolism of the award was the engagement of the main leaders of Santa Catarina for the recovery of the economy in 2022”, comments Delton Batista, president of the entity.

 

The LIDE SC award brought together the main managers of the State with the aim of integrating companies, organizations and private entities, through debate programs, business forums and content activities.

Almeida Junior is awarded with the AJPlace case at the ABRASCE Award

With the “Marketplace of Almeida Junior Shoppings Centers: the technology used to overcome the pandemic and go a step further, promoting convergence between the online and offline worlds” case, the Almeida Junior group won silver at the ABRASCE Award (Brazilian Association of Shopping Malls) in the “Technology Applied to Operations” category. The award is considered one of the most important in the retail segment.

The group’s marketplace, AJPlace, is one of the first platforms in the country to cover all the projects of a shopping mall chain. Initially with a 50-thousand-item catalog, the application increased the offer to 220 thousand, with products from the most varied retail segments: fashion, beauty, health, technology, and decoration, for example.

Available for download for devices with iOS and Android systems, in web and app versions, AJPlace is a bridge between the physical and digital world, boosting business and making life easier for the user, who has several services available at a single click. Besides grouping all the stores present in Almeida Junior’s six shopping malls, the platform also has national and international brands that are not present in Santa Catarina.
