Museum is launched at Balneário Shopping with 50 attractions of optical illusions

For the first time in the South region of Brazil, the Museum of Illusions – the only one of its kind in Latin America – comes to play with brain and reason. The itinerant exhibition shows how the eyes can deceive your mind, because what you think you see is often not true. Aiming to provoke these different sensations and attract an audience of 30 thousand people, Almeida Junior brought this novelty to Balneário Shopping.

 

The exhibition has over 50 attractions with fun experiences and optical illusions that intrigue the public. Inspired in the main museums of science and optical illusion of the world, the attraction brings knowledge about visual illusions, subliminal messages and the relationship between time, space and consciousness.

 

The museum also has exclusive experiences and ‘instagrammable’ spaces, incredible environments to photograph and film and situations that seem impossible. The curator of the Museum of Illusions is physicist and professor Julio Abdalla, curator of the largest travelling scientific exhibition in Brazil: ExperCiência and also director of a network of schools. The project has consultancy and development by Paulo Zimmermann, former Media Executive, currently consultant and advisor in market development and entertainment projects.

Virtual reality: games will entertain families in Continente and Balneário Shopping

In order to entertain families and children during this school vacation season, the Continente (in Greater Florianópolis) and Balneário Shopping (in Balneário Camboriú) brought a virtual reality challenge.

 

The “VR Space – virtual reality for you” will attract an audience crazy for game and innovation over the next three months. The public will be able to experience the VR Top (multi-sensory simulator in virtual reality for up to six simultaneous participants), in addition to two other attractions recently launched and unprecedented in Brazil: the VR Strike – a cooperative challenge where up to 4 players cooperate for their survival, and the VR Mix – with several options for individual immersions without the inconvenience and limitation of cables.

 

Developed by VR do Brasil, created just over a year ago, it aims to bring first world innovation to Latin America and now expands its operations in Santa Catarina. In one year of operation, the company already has six confirmed units in the states of Paraná, Santa Catarina and Belo Horizonte.

Christmas campaign closes this Sunday, January 5, at Almeida Junior Shopping Malls

The Almeida Junior Shopping Centre Christmas campaign closes this Sunday, 1/5. Don’t miss your chance to participate in the six-car  raffle.

 

To participate in the campaign, customers of Neumarkt and Norte Shopping (Blumenau), Balneário Shopping (Balneário Camboriú), Garten Shopping (Joinville), Continente Shopping (Greater Florianópolis) and Nações Shopping (Criciúma) should exchange the invoices that add up to BRL 400 for a coupon.

 

The invoices must be registered at the Self-Service Center located at the mall where you made your purchases (until 8:00 pm on 01/05/2020), or by the “Almeida Junior” application (until 6:00 pm on 01/05/2020). Coupons must be picked up at the same service station of each mall. Then, just deposit them in the ballot box to enter the draw, which will be held on January 6, 2020, at 1 pm.
