Almeida Junior Institutional Actions Celebrate Women’s Month at the Group’s Shopping Centers

In March, Almeida Junior, the largest shopping center group in the South of Brazil, held a series of institutional actions to celebrate International Women’s Day across its properties. Special events highlighted the shopping centers as spaces for recognizing and valuing female diversity, with thematic fashion and beauty activities, inspiring lectures, and networking opportunities.

At Balneário Shopping, known for its fashion and lifestyle trends, Women’s Month was marked by a variety of activities. From the Flower Bar, which allowed participants to explore the art of floral arrangements, to the photographic exhibition “BE YOUR OWN MUSE,” which portrays women with inspiring life stories. Workshops dedicated to personal empowerment for women were also held, such as the Personal Style and Color Workshop and the Perfume Workshop, in partnership with Granado, which took place on the 19th. The Women’s Month program at the shopping center will close with an exclusive wine tasting for women, in partnership with the Koch Group, on the 22nd.

At Continente Shopping, around 60 guests attended a special breakfast on International Women’s Day. Entrepreneurs, influencers, journalists, and customers enjoyed a special banquet and a discussion on empowerment and the presence of women on social media, led by mentor Gabriela Wiggers.

At Garten Shopping, the event “Elas | Mulheres do Futuro” (Women | Women of the Future) highlighted the inspiring journeys of local businesswomen, fostering an exchange of experiences and networking among female entrepreneurs. The shopping center also hosted the 3rd JCC Delas at the Joinville Country Club. The Vice-Governor of Santa Catarina, Marilisa Boehm, shared the stage with Karin Hartenthal Ramos, Karina Werninghaus “Karinah,” and Susane Wolf Tomelin Raiter in a talk moderated by journalist Flávia Martins. The speakers shared their success stories, inspiring attendees to pursue their dreams and fight for their goals.

On March 19, Tuesday, Garten Shopping will host the event “Elas | Mulheres do Futuro,” an initiative to celebrate and share stories of overcoming and success led by women entrepreneurs. With the theme “From the backstage journey to the stage of your life,” the event will feature two local businesswomen, Suzana Carvalho and Lilian Sauer, who will share their experiences and insights on public speaking and image consulting, respectively.

At Neumarkt Shopping, image consultant Lu Testoni led an event on International Women’s Day with a program that surprised the audience with actions, lots of interaction, and tips to ease women’s daily lives, helping them find balance and elevate self-esteem. The event aimed to empower women, debunk beauty standards, and provide tools for them to dress well according to their needs, occasions, and colors that best match their essence.

Norte Shopping, in Blumenau, held an unprecedented event on March 14, “Elas Trends Fashion.” Over 100 women participated in a talk show with haute couture professionals Carlota di Pietro, Jojo Oneda, Patrick Landell, and Sara Moretti, who launched fall/winter trends and merged fashion and fast fashion with architecture and interior design. The event also featured a mini fashion show and an exhibition of artistic works, including the Caré armchair by artist Léo Ferreiro, which will be awarded at the Milan Design Week.
