The Almeida Junior group has solidified its position as the leader in retail in Santa Catarina with a double recognition at the Top of Mind 2025 awards, organized by NSC. Neumarkt Shopping and Nações Shopping stand out as the most remembered by consumers, reaffirming their prominent positions in the regions where they operate.
Neumarkt Shopping: 26 Years of Leadership in Blumenau
Neumarkt Shopping is the most remembered in the Vale do Itajaí and bets on premium gastronomy with NK Gourmet.
Neumarkt Shopping has once again been recognized as the most remembered brand in the “Shopping Center of Vale do Itajaí” category at the Top of Mind 2025. This is the 26th time the shopping center has received the distinction, reaffirming its leadership and relevance in the memory of the people of Santa Catarina.
“Receiving this award for the 26th time proves Neumarkt Shopping’s commitment to excellence. Since our opening in 1993, we have maintained our position as the main reference in Blumenau and the region, always evolving to offer the best brands, gastronomy, and entertainment,” highlights Fabio Voelz, superintendent of Neumarkt Shopping.
The first shopping center opened by the Almeida Junior group, Neumarkt Shopping is expanding its NK Gourmet offering, which already includes major brands like Outback, Madero, and Sinhá Benta, and now also features Kombina Felice and Nagairô restaurants. In retail, the recent addition of Carter’s and the Stuttgart Porsche exhibition at Neumarkt reinforce the shopping center’s strategy.
Nações Shopping: The Largest Shopping Center in Southern Santa Catarina
Award emphasizes the shopping center’s commitment to quality and innovation, highlighting the development as a leader in experiences and gastronomy in the region.
Nações Shopping, located in Criciúma, was also honored as one of the winners of the Top of Mind 2025. The shopping center stood out in the “Shopping Center of the South” category, being spontaneously remembered by consumers as a reference. This recognition is the result of a strategy that goes beyond traditional retail: the shopping center consistently invests in actions that create emotional connections with the public, transforming the space into a meeting point for families in the region.
For Mário Soratto Gaidzinski, superintendent of Nações Shopping, the Top of Mind recognition shows that the shopping center is on the right path by putting the customer at the center of everything. “Since our opening, our goal has been to offer much more than just shopping. We aim to provide complete experiences with entertainment, leisure, and excellent gastronomy. It is an honor to be spontaneously remembered by people, as this shows that we are part of their daily lives.”
Since its opening in 2016, Nações Shopping has stood out for its leisure and cultural offerings, with attractions such as exhibitions and interactive events. In gastronomy, it hosts operations like KFC, Outback (the first in South SC), Galeto Mamma Mia, Cervejaria Big Jack, and Kopenhagen. The mix has also been recently expanded with Wepink, Ophicina, and Sicredi.
