Almeida Junior, Santa Catarina’s largest shopping center chain, was recognized by the Santa Catarina Leaders Award 2024 in the ‘Governance’ category. Promoted by the Santa Catarina Leaders Group – LIDE SC, the award recognizes companies and entrepreneurs from Santa Catarina who have stood out in the market through innovation and entrepreneurship. The awards ceremony took place this Wednesday, the 6th, in Florianópolis. Almeida Junior holds 71% of the state’s market share and owns six large shopping centers located in different regions.
The SC Leaders Award recognizes individuals and companies that reflect Santa Catarina’s entrepreneurial spirit, standing out for their role in the region’s economic and social development. This year, the event brought together over 300 CEOs and company presidents to celebrate the winners in 20 categories, including industry, creative economy, agribusiness, technology, retail, sustainability, among others.
